This time of year we love baking with our family so we read a holiday favorite
“The Gingerbread Man” by Jim Aylesworth
Children often enjoy reading different versions of the same story. There are so many versions of the Gingerbread Man and I encourage families to read others. You can also encourage older children to write their own version.
Tonight we read
"The Gingerbread Man Loose in the School" by Mike Lowery
Break-
Five in the Bed; Teddy Bear
I think everyone's favorite tonight was
"Bear Stays Up for Christmas" by Karma Wilson & Jane Chapman
Surprisingly we have already had snow this year. School was closed Monday. This is a good time to remind parents if evening activities are canceled for Fulton County we do not meet even though we are an off-site meeting.
To remind students to bundle up in our colder weather we read:
“Snug as a Bug” by Tamsyn Murray & Judi Abbot.
Finally everyone enjoyed cookies and milk provided by the Harbor Pointe staff and took home a coloring copy of
The Gingerbread Man and a holiday pencil
